So imagine the panic when I flicked over to BBC1 when to my horror and incredulity all I get is the "No Signal" signal. I jiggle the ariel and then try flinging it back and forth across the room, unplug it, replug it, switch the whole TV system off at the wall and back on again, nothing works. It's coming on for 9pm. In desperation I rip the ariel out of its socket, and shove it into the back of the TV. Thankfully it works, and I get to watch Torchwood on Terrestrial. Fucking hell. But thank goodness they haven't switched it over for good yet.

So is anyone else getting this problem with their freeview or skybox? Where BBC1 doesn't work even though it is obviously getting a signal, because the programmes are showing on the listings and it works on fuckin Terrestrial? Or is it just MY box that has gone crazy?

In other news, I've suddenly realised (though I do do this from time to time) just how badly my art sucks. I WAS hit by a sudden urge to delete all my current sucky art, or at least move it to storage, but that won't achieve anything, I'll just leave it in this rotting gallery. This is not a plea for mushy sympathy because I know that anyone who says "oh but your art doesn't suck" is either lying or is probably blind. The solution? Work harder.




(Perhaps i am being too hard on myself, my art isn't good but it's not all THAT bad..sulking about it certainly won't help..)
